A 60 minute indoor cycling class that will provide an intense cardiovascular workout

Spinning is an indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. The instructor takes you on terrain that includes flat land, hills mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. You can vary the pace to fit your fitness level and have the opportunity to discover your athlete within!

Indoor cycling classes can increase energy, cardiovascular fitness and lower body strength. Depending on how fast you pedal and the amount of resistance you have on the bike, your heart and lungs will benefit, as well as your gluteus maximus, hamstrings and quadriceps.

Spinning will increase your cardiovascular fitness During the 60 minute session you will burn fat and calories, tone and shape the lower body and increase leg strength and muscular endurance Your body will release endorphins leaving you on a natural high. One of the benefits of a spinning class is it does not put any pressure on the knees and joints and therefore allows you to not only work hard but prevents any stress that could be brought on by the pain.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

  • Water Bottle
  • Towel
  • Clip on Cycle Shoes (SPD Compatible) Optional or Athletic Shoes
  • Bike Shorts or Capri Recommended
  • Any Padded “Bicycle” Seat Cover (Optional)
