EXERCISE OF THE DAY: DEEP SQUAT BELLY BREATHING If I had to assign one mobility exercise to everyone, this would be it. Grab onto something, squat butt to heels, and breathe into your back (with full exhales) for 8 breaths. It places the pelvis in a huge posterior tilt, shortening the hip flexors and the hamstrings simultaneously. The hamstrings are usually locked long, not short!
